Well, in true grown up glitter fashion I am writing (maybe for the second time this year) about gold home decor. Now, not every piece you add to your space needs to be dripping in glitter (but bonus points if it does...), however adding a smattering of gold touches can really increase the visual value of your home. There are a few things to remember when choosing your gold elements... For example, more is not necessarily more. If you have wall to wall gold everything you're gonna look like the king from Emperor's New Groove... or Pitball. Tone in down, by incorporating gold into artwork, throw pillows, picture frames, knick-knacks, etc.
If you really want to make a LOUD gold + glittery impact (I'm talking some Mariah Carey shit) I will remind you that wall paint like this, EXISTS. Little does my fiancé know that at LEAST one room in our future house will be bedazzled - guaranteed.
